Top Gig. Top Venue
Shame there was no Slide Away, GG etc.
Some songs really cut the mustard: Neon Wilderness was a fuckin belter, as was Lucky Man which was really BIG (Tongy on Guitar too). BSS was better than previous with better strings.
Stormy Clouds & Ocean - great clarity which unfortunatley wasn't there for Weeping Willow which was just a blur.
Come On waas pretty fucked up - in a good way - it kept evolving and rising and falling.
Only Richard soundbite was "We aint showbiz" (repeat times 10) aimed at the front section of the crowd - you know, the ones in Oasis t shirts.

I didn't see any celebs there - were any of you on the balcony? What was that like?

The setlist for Saturday included the exact same songs as Friday night (except A New Decade instead of A Northern Soul to kick it all off) but they were in different order. I can't remember the order from Friday night. On Friday, there were technical problems with BSS that forced them to play it later on. I guess the sample wouldn't start. F#@cking brilliant shows. I believe Nick had new amps the second night. They were more effective cos I could hear him better last night. Nothing prior to ANS, though. That was a bit disappointing. Anyway, here's Saturday's setlist.

A New Decade
This is Music
Catching the Butterfly
Neon Wilderness
Weeping Willow (amazing version)
Sonnet
Drugs Don't Work
Rolling People
History
Life's An Ocean
BSS + ending
Stormy Clouds (incredible)
-----------------------
((encore))
Space & Time
On Your Own
Lucky Man
COME ON !!!

that's it. It should be right because I got the actual setlist. Amazing show. Better Sat night than Friday. Can't wait till February the 9th ...
