Bogarts Cincinatti, Oh, US (Nov/03/1993)
Notes: Supported by Acetone

From: Jonathan

The name of the venue was Bogart's. The opening band was Acetone. I didn't know that much about Verve at the time. My friend Dave was really into their "All in the Mind" single. I didn't have anything else going on, so I went. At first, I thought Richard was insane. He had no shoes on and was just dancing around flapping his arms as if he was listening to music the rest of us couldn't hear. I recall "Slide Away" as the song that caught my attention and I remember they closed with "Gravity Grave." Their sound seemed to fill the mostly vacant room. Bogart's is huge and there were only about 40 people there. They had all these weird lamps sitting all over the stage. Ticket price was $3! who knew it would never be so good again?
